The path here didn't start with operations. It started with running an independent education practice for six years — the kind of work where you're responsible for everything at once, because there's no one else to hand it to.

From there, the work moved into marketing: first as a specialist executing campaigns, then managing digital marketing, then leading marketing communications end to end. Three roles, three companies, each one a step up in scope — content, lead generation, brand visuals, campaign strategy.

The shift into operations happened at Perla Engineering — starting in marketing, then moving into an operations role once it became clear that the more valuable work was further upstream: not just producing content or campaigns, but building the systems that let an organization actually run — daily reporting, material requests, a defined operating rhythm for the role itself.

That practice is now continuing at Tathmeer Properties, consolidating reporting across a larger project portfolio. Alongside it, three books have been written over the past decade — on time, on balance, and on self-coaching — a separate but related thread about how people (not just organizations) actually get better at their work.
